Buffalo Bandits general manager Steve Dietrich has announced the team has agreed to terms on a three-year contract with unrestricted free agent goaltender Anthony Cosmo.
Cosmo ranks third in franchise history with 25 wins and second with 2,201 saves with the Bandits. The 15-year NLL veteran netminder is coming off a season that saw him set a new career-high with 10 wins, to go along with a .781 save percentage and an 11.31 goals-against average. The 37-year-old Mississauga, Ontario native, who was drafted with the 15th overall selection in the 1998 NLL Draft, won the league’s Goaltender of the Year award in 2007.
