The National Lacrosse League has issued a statement regarding the Edmonton Rush’s home playoff game in the NLL West Division Finals.
The league approved the Rush’s initial request to host Game 2 of the West Division Finals on Wednesday, May 20 after Rexall Place was unavailable to host the game on the weekend of May 21-24. Subsequently on April 29, the Rush announced that the team would instead host Game 1 on Friday, May 15 in the interests of the fans.
West Division Finals
Game 1:
Calgary Roughnecks (8-11) at Edmonton Rush (13-5)
Friday, May 15 – 9:30 p.m. ET
Rexall Place – Edmonton, AB
Game 2:
Edmonton Rush (13-5) at Calgary Roughnecks (8-11)
Saturday, May 23 – 9:30 p.m. ET
Scotiabank Saddledome – Calgary, AB
The NLL Division Finals feature a best-of-two series format. If tied 1-1, the series winner will be determined through a 10-minute tiebreaker game to be played immediately following Game 2. The winners of the Division Finals will represent the East and West in the Champion’s Cup Finals.
