Playoff Picture Remains Murky in the East

Three weeks remain in the National Lacrosse League regular season and there are still two playoff seeds available in the East.

Three weeks remain in the National Lacrosse League regular season and there are still two playoff seeds available in the East.

The Georgia Swarm is the only team to have punched their ticket to hunt for the Champion’s Cup, but everything else is up for grabs in the division.

After losing three of four, the Swarm has exploded for 21 goals in back-to-back games to remind the rest of the league how lethal their offense can be. It was extra sweet as the outburst came against rival New England who missed a chance to pull even with the idle Rock for second place.

Buffalo and Rochester remain on the outside looking in at 5-9 records. However, they both remain within striking distance of that third and final postseason berth sitting just 1.5 back of the Black Wolves.
