It’s already Week 7 in the National Lacrosse League and we’re starting to see some patterns emerge as the midway point of the season quickly approaches. I enlisted the assistance of NLL Insider Teddy Jenner to discuss teams and players whose stock is on the rise and on the decline.
STOCK UP – San Diego Seals
The expansion franchise is rolling with a 4-2 record, on a three-game winning streak, and sitting second in the Western Division.
STOCK DOWN – Calgary Roughnecks
The Roughnecks are a talented group that have lost their last three with a record of 3-4. There’s still plenty of season left, but we all know you can’t fall too far behind in the West.
STOCK UP – Dan Craig, Toronto Rock
The 6’1”, 180lbs sophomore Rock forward flashed as a rookie and has come on strong the last two weeks combining for eight points (4G, 4A).
STOCK DOWN – Philadelphia Wings Goaltenders
Neither of Philadelphia’s two young goaltenders have been able to hold down the starting job as the Wings look for their first victory.
