I pledge to improve my sport by taking accountability for my words and actions. Words can have different meanings for different groups, so I will use words that encourage and support others, and will reject words that intimidate, discriminate or alienate others. If I hear others using hurtful language, I will speak up to let them know that is not ok. If I mess up and say something offensive or hurtful, I will own it and use it as an opportunity to educate myself and those around me. My sport and world is better when everyone feels welcome and valued.
