Career

NLL: Manley was drafted with the 32nd pick of the fourth round in 2012 National Lacrosse League Entry Draft by the Philadelphia Wings. Manley played for the Wings for two seasons appearing in 31 games while managing to gather 10 points and 127 loose balls. He spent his 2015 season with the New England Black Wolves. Manley played for the expansion New York Riptide in the 2019-20 season, before being traded in the offseason to the Rochester Knighthawks.

NCAA: Mike Manley began his collegiate career in 2008, earning ACC Rookie of the Year honors after playing in and starting 18 games for Duke. He tallied one goal and one assist in a 15-7 win over Maryland and collected 23 ground balls, contributing to a Blue Devil defense that ranked eighth nationally. In 2009, Mike played in 18 games, helping anchor a defense that allowed just 8.42 goals per game, earning All-ACC Tournament Team honors. He also scored a goal in a 9-8 win over Colgate and picked up 34 ground balls. In 2010, he started 19 games on defense and was named to the USILA All-America third team. He anchored a defense that allowed 8.98 goals per game, finished with 44 ground balls and 17 caused turnovers, and was selected to the NCAA All-Tournament Team after leading the Blue Devils to the championship. In 2011, Mike missed the season due to injury but returned in 2012 to play 20 games, starting 19, and earning USILA All-America second team honors. He led Duke with 27 caused turnovers, ranked second on the team in ground balls with 52, and helped anchor a defense that allowed 9.25 goals per game. Over his career, Mike played in 75 games, starting 74, and became a two-time USILA All-America selection, earning second-team honors in 2011 and third-team recognition in 2009. He finished with 153 ground balls and 57 caused turnovers and was named the 2007 ACC Freshman of the Year.
